About this role
This course will familiarise participants with legislation concerning MMELs and understanding MMELs and MELs for operational use. <br />Content Regulatory material including JAR-MMEL/MEL, JAR-OPS, ATA Chapters, TGL 26. Understanding of MMEL ownership and relationship to certification standards. Calculation of safety impact including the consequences of the failure of the considered item, next critical failure and CS 1309 safety assessments. Definitions used within MMELs and MELs. Classification of items with appropriate rectification intervals. Rectification interval extensions. Operator preparation of a MEL.
