About this role
Emirates Flight Catering, an associate company of the Emirates Group and operates the world's largest in-flight catering facility. We have two catering units at Dubai International Airport that provides meals and in-flight services to both Emirates Airline and approximately 120 other airline clients. We also operate premium airport lounges, an events division, off airport food and beverage outlets, a frozen meal manufacturing plant and the largest industrial laundry in the region. This position is within the Engineering Department. Reporting to Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Supervise the maintenance activities to ensure proper and efficient operations in the assigned section. Monitor all the preventive maintenance required. Required to supervise, train, motivate and counsel maintenance employees to achieve company objectives Provided guidance on the different aspects of the job as and when required. Arrange and review all maintenance requests carried out on a daily basis. Assign fresh maintenance requests to the concerned staff and supervise the work, ensuring it is carried out quickly, professionally and in a cost effective manner. Keep the staff well-disciplined and fully conversant with the framework within which they need to operate. Ensure that any subcontractors employed by the company are carrying out their work as per EKFC standards efficiently without any disturbances to the overall workflow. Ensure the personal safety of all staff assigned to jobs by ascertaining the correct use of tools/equipment and wearing the safety accessories/ as supplied by the company. Comply with the Company Quality and Occupational Health & Safety Policies. Experience & Qualifications: Diploma in Engineering Proven experience working in Facilities Management Working knowledge on electrical installation and kitchen equipment repair High standards of verbal and written communication in English Demonstrated ability to maintain constructive relationships with others Salary & Benefits: Salary package will be discussed during the interview to successful candidates.
