The Position: Fully assist Crew Control Superintendent in Managing Published Flight Deck and Cabin Crew rosters and manage all training activities associated with Flight Crew training to ensure that training plans are not delayed . Essentially but not exclusively on a 48 hr basis and make short term plans to obtain optimum utilisation of manpower with DGCA rules and Company Policies as well as recovery of published training plans to minimize delays and associated costs. You will be required to have constant communication with the Crew Superintendant to ensure that all parties know the implication of operational decisions. Analyzing options and choosing the right recovery according to the current situation is compulsory. Liaise with both Fleet Management and Service Delivery Management & Training Admin to ensure an uninterrupted operational environment with minimal disruption to the operation. Handling of Crew Sickness, personal calls, information from the Emirates clinic, flight crew of flight and other duty changes. Advise Duty Crew Control Superintendent any unusual situations that may arise especially in regard to reconciling equipment type changes to a layover station and ensuring the correct qualified Flight and Cabin Crew are in place to operate. Advise display full and intimate knowledge of GCAA mandatory legalities and use this knowledge to the maximum benefit of the Company. Monitor and manage crew qualifications, medicals and pilot recency in our system to ensure that they are accurately reflected. Salary & Benefits: We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66. Experience and Qualifications: 5+ yrs relevant experience with minimum of 1 years experience in a crew scheduling role or related environment.
