About this role
Software/ Mathmatical Algorithm Research, Technology and Development Engineer will be involved in decision support and advanced data analysis. Essential Responsibilities: - Design and develop advanced data-analysis tools for decision support - Work closely with the technical fellow and analytics applications team to develop core toolsets Qualifications/Requirements: -MSc, PhD or strong academic background in maths, science, engineering or equivalent level of knowledge and experience. Interest in math modelling and analytics -Experience of algorithm design, prototyping and validation -Strong OO experience, preferably either MATLAB or .NET Desired Characteristics: -Interest in advanced data-mining and data-analysis for decision support -Experience or knowledge of mathematical modelling techniques pertaining to prediction, anomaly modelling, reasoning and optimisation (example probabilistic graphical modelling, statistics, or artificial intelligence) -Experience of MATLAB -Understanding of sorting and optimisation algorithms -Appreciation of computational complexity theory -Knowledge of design patterns -Interdisciplinary communication to forge connections with diverse domain specialists Benefits Include: * Good Opportunities for Career Development, Regular Reviews and Career Planning. * Excellent Relocation Package. * Share Option Scheme * Flexible Benefits * Good Location and Working Environment.
