Experienced Composite Technicians are needed to perform C&D Maintenance Checks on Wide Body Commercial Aircraft for our client in Rome, NY. Overview: Perform repairs to aircraft composite components using the following materials: Fiberglass Aramid (Nomex & Kevlar) Carbon Fiber And other Advanced Carbon Materials Techniques performed include: Wet lay-up Prepreg lay-up Metal-to-Metal Bonding Utilizing Vacuum Bagging Hot Bond And other Advanced Techniques Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: 2 years of experience as an Aviation Composite Technician is required. 6 of 24 months of recent experience as an Aviation Composite Technician is required. Wide Body experience is required. A-320 and/or 767 experience is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Must be able to accomplish any and all repairs, modifications, E.A.'s, etc, with very little to no assistance Must be able to use all tech data and aircraft drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.
