About this role
EASA B1 Hawker business jets engineer required for our client who provide a business jet base maintenance, aircraft painting, modifications, structural, avionics engineering and refurbishment as well as FBO fueling and handling services. Based in Switzerland the MRO and FBO facility is an authorised service center for all Cessna turboprop, Cessna Citation series executive aircraft, including the Citation X and Hawker Beechcraft’s King Air and Hawker executive jet series.The Aircraft Electrician team is responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical systems within Cessna Citation series aircraft, Hawker business jets, Beechcraft and King Air aircraft. Aircraft Electrician team troubleshoot issues within the systems, perform safety checks and ensure systems are kept in order. Qualification• EASA B1 licensed engineer • Type rated on at least one of the following Hawker executive jets.Hawker 200, Hawker 400XP, Hawker 750, Hawker 850XP, Hawker 900XP, Hawker 1000, Hawker 4000, Beechcraft King AirExperience • Completed vocational training as aircraft electrician or avionics technician Competencies• High standard of English language with German an advantage but not necessary• teamplayer who enjoys working with minimal supervision and understands the work related requirements of other teams • You should be enjoying the energy of trouble shooting. • Structured apperoach and enjoy working in a fast pace environment. • Someone reliable and committed who can be trusted with respect to quality and safety.**Our client will support license training and type rating certificationThe aircraft lectrician team is responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical systems within an aircraft. They troubleshoot issues within the systems, perform safety checks and ensure systems are kept in order. • Using special equipment to test systems • Diagnosing malfunctions • Repairing or replacing defective components • Cleaning and preserving electrical components • Reading and following electrical diagrams • Soldering wires • Keeping maintenance record Working Hours and ShiftOur client work pattern is a 3 shift system Monday to Friday. In a 6 week rotation everyone covers a duty shift on the weekend. The Electrical Supervisor should be prepared to travel to an aircraft on ground as required which is not expoected to be frequent.
