Senior Analyst (Piiea)

Job Purpose: Researcher, analyst, public affairs communicator and project manager to produce key materials, package arguments, develop creative concepts and implement ideas as part of a team. Production of a wide range of outputs aimed at external audiences and internal stakeholders, to support Emirates network growth and commercial objectives. This includes developing project plans, writing content, managing approvals and production of high-level materials including reports, briefs, presentations, position papers, letters and the company's public affairs journal, Open Sky. Job Outline: Manage the start-to-end publication of department output, working within a team to develop content you will be responsible for developing and overseeing a project plan for the timely and effective production of reports, briefs, presentations, campaigns, position papers, letters and other required output. Maintain a sound understanding of aviation, aero-politics and global political environments/systems relevant to Emirates through media monitoring, journals/publications, government and regulatory decisions/positions. Collate and interpret large bodies of information from various sources to develop appropriate content and creative concepts for various audiences and Emirates stakeholders. Analyse reports received from media commentators and write rebuttal documents. Research and prepare focused submissions, presentations and position papers. Understand Emirates priorities and objectives inrelationships with internal departments, outstations and external parties such as public affairs consultancies, aeronautical authorities and other airline executives for the purposes of research and monitoring as well as for the preparation of various materials for Emirates visits. Supporting the Environment Manager to define and implement an environmental communication plan for the department's environmental initiatives, both internally and externally. This will involve defining the direction, researching and writing articles and liaising extensively with Corporate Communications to ensure the communication plan is implemented. Produce the department's quarterly public affairs journal - Open Sky. Qualifications: Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) Bachelors Degree in a subject related to international affairs, communications, economics, government or political affairs Experience: 5 to 8+ yrs experience of working in government relations, ministerial office, public affairs or an avaiation environment Commercial/Sales.Research/Analysis 5 to 8+ Years Knowledge/skills: - High level project management skills - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - Demonstrable influencing skills - Teamwork - Ability to analyse and interpret large amounts of information - Strong writing skills
