JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES The role is primarily responsible for proactive administrative support to the Cabin Crew Managers, enabling them to effectively manage crew performance by the provision of accurate data and information and working as a liaison between crew and Cabin Crew Managers (CCMs). To provide a customer centric first point of contact for cabin crew so that they receive a level of service to the standard set for Emirates Customers. To work as part of a team within own and the larger administrative function by sharing work practices and approaches. To work closely with the Cabin Crew Service Centre, Staff Travel, Human Resources and Emirates Aviation College etc. To provide administrative support to Manager Cabin Crew (MCCs) and CCMs as required. To independently research, gather, collate and present accurate and timely data on crew performance and productivity for the CCM/MCC. This includes information from Stake holders as well. Track and highlight trends on crew performance, prepare all necessary supporting documents for CCM to review and take immediate and prompt action. Generate and provide administrative support and communication for incoming compliments and/ or deliver Najm awards to crew that receive exceptional onboard performance feedback as well as ensuring crew promotion selection process is accurately updated and prompted to CCM for closure. Track and monitor crew attendance. Review complex cases with CCM, and proactively prepare for action plans as required and follow up appointments etc. Be knowledgeable of crew specific information. Be up-to-date with changes to the Employment Regulations Manual as well as departmental work practices so that prompt answers can be provided. Ensure telephone messages and emails are responded to within the stipulated time lines, providing accurate and concise responses. Direct crew queries to applicable and alternative sources, ensuring resolution of their queries and adequate follow up. Planning and organisation of interviews for Crew Members involved in disciplinary matters. This includes all administrative requirements pertaining to this.. Create practices and methods to identify and manage the volume of probationary and annual assessments when required. Proactively set appointments for crew in order to facilitate meetings with the CCMs and MCCs by preparing the necessary information from the following sources such as onboard appraisals, learning journal/training assessments, previous development plans, appreciation letters, disciplinary records as well as sickness/absenteeism and punctuality records. Ensure all incidents entered in Systems are to the specified standards of the department. Ensure entries are logged under accurate headings. Incidents have to be closed accurately and in a timely manner. Respond to requests and provide guidance to crew on rostering matters, accommodation and general enquiries. Escalate to CCM/MCC as appropriate. Understand and apply the Service Personality principles to establish a rapport with crew; endeavour to know them personally, so that a level of personalised service can be provided. Follow up on the welfare of the crew following Emergency Leave, Sickness, Safety incidents, ensuring their wellbeing. Maintain confidentiality of crew related information ensuring a secure work environment (open plan office, clearing printers etc). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS 12 years schooling or equivalent Minimum of 5 years working experience in Administration / Co-ordinator - of which 2 yrs preferably within an airline Proficient in Written and Spoken English. Knowledge of other languages an asset and the ability to transcribe with speed and accuracy is preferable. Computer literate in MS Office applications - Excel, Word, Access, Power Point Working knowledge of Email/ Fax Salary & Benefits: We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66.
