Our client is a successful aerospace organisation who is currently seeking an experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead the procurement and manage the operational performance of their supply chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve on-time deliveries from the supply chain. Key duties include:*Lead and direct the development and implementation of lean logistics and inventory management strategies*Develop and maintain KPIs that are necessary to assess and improve performance of the supply chain*Lead the planning and forecasting process to provide relevant and accurate data to supply chain*Challenge operational and supply chain requirements through "Lean" methodologiesThis is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager or Head of Supply Chain Commercial Manager with a strong background in aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or defence with the ability to lead change and a strong customer focus. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills with vision, creativity and imagination for new solutions. Ideally the candidate will be MCIPS qualified but this is not essential.
