Our client is a successful aerospace organisation who is currently seeking an experienced Head of Planning and Logistics to create and maintain a planning and logistics strategy. The successful candidates will be responsible for all planning and logistics processes and will be accountable for the planning and forecasting of the inventoryKey duties include:*Lead and manage the Sales & Operations plan and process*Develop the strategy to achieve and improve planning process*Deliver parts on time and to the correct quality*Ensure lean transformation *Establish lean techniques*Accountable for sales and operations planning, including inventory, demand management, and stock accuracyThis is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Head of Planning and Logistics who has significant experience of SAP with a strong background in aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or defence. The successful candidate will ideally have an appreciation of lean manufacturing principles.
