About this role
Our Client requires a Stress Engineer for a contract assignment based in Germany for analysis of Aero Engines / Nacelle and Structures. Requirements:Strong knowledge in metallic aeronautical structures.Strong knowledge in strength and fatigue analysis.Good knowledge in composite technologies.Good knowledge of vibration testing and assessment. Skill of independently organising tasks and their interface to other skill groups.Experience in IT-Tools and Patran/Nastran/Hyperworks .Knowledge in qualification standards.They will be involved with:Manufacture of standardisation and licensing reports. Independent realisation of static and dynamic FE stress analyses as well as hand calculations.Defining, accompanying and evaluate of structural tests. Examine of supplier-stress analyses. Leading of discussions with the supplier. Organisation and coordination of stress projects with hardware suppliers as well as with Off-Load suppliers.Candidates must currently hold the right to live and work in Germany - EU citizens.
