Aerospace Stress Engineer Term: Contract 12 monthsWe are looking for a number of experienced Aircraft Stress Engineers to work for a major international aerospace consultancy in Montreal, Canada. You will be working on projects such as CSeries, Global Express and Learjet 85, being a major part of the success of these groundbreaking aircraft.Your responsibilities :* Perform analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structures * Perform various engineering analysis by completing traditional calculations as well as by modelling by finite elements * Provide technical support and develop structural tests on demo aircrafts and produce a certification report * Participate in the preliminary design of structural parts * Conduct a routine evaluation on the parts and ensure a continuous improvement process * Perform any other related tasks as assigned Our client offers: * Salary CAD65 - 80/hour depending on experienceOur requirements * Bachelor's degree in mechanical / aerospace engineering or related discipline.* 7 years experience minimum * Thorough knowledge of statics, dynamics and vibrations of aircraft structures and finite elements analysis * Experience in fatigue analysis and damage tolerance * Knowledge of Nastran, Patran, Nasgro and Catia V5, an asset * Team player, dynamicOpen to international applications
