Boeing Integrated Materials Management (IMM) and is looking to fill 2 positions in support of it GoldCare operations in Luton.IMM is the next generation of expanded supply chain services that provide value to airline customers and suppliers. Airlines avoid the cost of holding inventory, eliminate the problem of spare parts obsolescence and improve their materials management productivity. At the same time, suppliers benefit from having more accurate and timely customer inventory and demand requirements; thus, reducing the cost of managing their supply chain.GoldCare is Boeing's flexible set of 787 Dreamliner support services. Boeing works with airlines to select from a menu of services to tailor a support package that best fits their operation. Under GoldCare, Boeing leads a global team of world-class Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) and Supplier partners who deliver maintenance services & material management.Specifically, the Supply Chain Analyst will:• Forecast, plan, and order spare parts inventory to achieve contractual service level target for part availability.• Coordinate shipments of parts to and from customer facility.• Track and trace urgent material requirements and keeping the customer informed about status.• Organise and attend regular meetings with the customer to discuss all relevant operational requirements such as shortages, demand planning and process development and improvement.• Maintain the accuracy of inventory and purchase orders using both Customer and Boeing inventory management systems.• Spend 2-3 day travelling per month to the maintenance facility in Manchester.• Work with the Boeing and Customer teams (IT, Planning, Warehousing etc) to develop solutions to current and emerging IMM program support and related issues.You should be, or be able to, demonstrate the following competencies:• Adaptability• Business Analysis• Communication• Customer Focus• Supply Chain knowledgeBasic Qualifications for Consideration: Do you have current rights to live and work in the UK?Typical Education/Experience: • Ideally you will have a good experience in materials management and supply chain logistics disciplines. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to project a positive customer interface at all times. • Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum direct supervision. • Good organisational skills. • Ideally you will be educated to degree level. • You will have good experience of Business Materials Management and supply chain logistics disciplines, preferably from within an airline environment.Other Job related information:Important information regarding this requisition: This requisition is for an international, locally hired position.
