<p>For our <b>Service</b><b> Center</b> located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, we are looking for a <b>Maintenance Manager.</b><b> </b></p> <p><b>Bombardier Aerospace</b></p> <p><i>A legacy of exceptional achievement. A continuous dedication to excellence. </i></p> <p>Bombardier Aerospace is a world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative aviation products and related services for the regional, business and amphibious aircraft markets. </p> <p> <b>Minimum requirements </b></p> <p>· A minimum of 7 years experience in performing aircraft maintenance, which must include 4 years of supervisory or lead experience.<br /> </p> <p>· EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License or Bachelors’ Dergree in Aerospace Engineering.<br /> </p> <p>· Basic knowledge of applicable EASA Regulations, for example part 145.</p> <p>· Basic knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Inspection Programs for business jet aircraft.</p> <p>· Basic knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations as they apply to workplace safety and environmental aspects of aircraft maintenance operations.</p> <p>· Interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, all levels of management, and other departments.<br /> </p> <p>· Customer service skills necessary to modify communication, tone, and presentation to defuse crisis situations with internal and external customers and maintain mutually beneficial customer relations.<br /> </p> <p>· Relevant management experience. </p> <p><b> </b><b>Essential Functions </b></p> <ul> <li>Perform supervisory responsibilities for assigned employees and area(s), for example: reviews, opportunities for professional development and training, personnel decisions concerning hire, fire, disciplinary issues, and salary adjustments, and employee schedules and leave.<br /> </li> <li>Serve as customer primary point-of-contact in communicating, coordinating, and follow-up for items such as time/labor/material quotes, preliminary invoices, progress updates, customer approval and debrief on work packages, resolution of squawks, and warranty issues.<br /> </li> <li>Perform Project Management duties for multiple aircraft to include identification of potential risks and management of constraints. <br /> </li> <li>Pre-plan, develop and maintain schedule through aircraft delivery and follow-up. <br /> </li> <li>Monitor and oversee work flow to ensure work package is on schedule and within budget. Ensure that work is performed in accordance with Maintenance Organization Exposition / Quality Manual, Site Workplace Instructions and EASA Regulations.<br /> </li> <li>Facilitate status meetings with all departments and shops; update daily reports on status of aircraft and report to Accountable Manager.<br /> </li> <li>Support the team in returning aircraft to service after maintenance.<br /> </li> <li>Coordinate special programs with Project Support Team, (i.e., Smart Parts, ESP, MSP, Honeywell, and Warranty.<br /> </li> <li>Review, approve, and sign final customer invoice as needed, (i.e., review margin analysis, warranty negotiations, and revision of service orders (SVOs).<br /> </li> <li>Perform post work package activities, (i.e., customer follow-up calls, resolve customer issues after departure, review invoice and margins, set-up outsides sales for parts not received, and send parts/supplies to customer).<br /> </li> <li>Coordinate with customer concerning entertainment during site visit.<br /> </li> <li>Responsible for meeting or exceeding facility financial objectives on all projects.<br /> </li> <li>Encourage and promote a safe work environment by supervising a safety/security program which includes operation of support equipment, aircraft systems, 5S, general housekeeping and lean manufacturing. Ensure that regular established safety/security audits are conducted and discrepancies are addressed.</li> <li> Administration, supervision and discipline of personnel under his/her control and that Health & Safety Standards are maintained to an acceptable standard. <p><b> </b><b>Additional Duties</b></p> <p>· Member of the Management Team.<br /> </p> <p>· Act on behalf of Accountable Manager during absence.<br /> </p> <p>· Maintain current training with respect to technical and supervisory skills by attending training classes, special technical and administration courses, seminars, exhibits and trade shows as necessary.<br /> </p> <p>· Coaches, mentors and trains direct reports on Service Center goals and quality expectations while providing technical assistance and support.<br /> </p> <p>· Assist in the development of management skills/leadership skills for direct reports.</p> <p><b>Contact: </b></p> <p>If you are interested in this position please e-mail your CV to <a href="mailto:hr_@aero.bombardier.com">hr_@aero.bombardier.com</a></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> </li> </ul>
