<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/amFja25pY2hvbGxzLjc4NzYyLjQyNEBlbGFuaXQuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif" /><br />POSITION: <br />Senior/Lead Design Engineer <br /> <br />LOCATION: <br />North West <br /> <br />COMPANY PROFILE: <br />An international aerospace organisation involved in aeroengines and aerostructures is seeking to recruit a senior/lead design engineer as a result of continued capability growth. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBILITIES: <br />The senior/lead engineer will report to the Chief Design Engineer and can be biased towards technical or project management responsibilities. The technical responsibilities will consist of monitoring design and draught functions, checking drawings and engineering queries, being responsible for ensuring that the design requirements meet customer specifications as well as ensuring quality procedures are adhered to. The project management responsibilities will consist of leading a small engineering team, to prove regular programme updates, to determine resource requirements, and be the interface with other teams. <br /> <br />EXPERIENCE: <br />Ideally, the successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a senior or lead engineering position although this is not essential. They will have a previous aerospace background, ideally in aircraft structural design, aerodynamic loading or a sound knowledge of aerospace materials and standard hardware.
