<p><strong>BOC Aviation</strong> is the leading Asia-based aircraft leasing company with a fleet of over 180 modern aircraft in service with more than 40 airlines worldwide. In line with our Company’s expansion plan and growing aircraft portfolio, we are now seeking suitable candidates to fill the position:<br /> <br /> <strong>TECHNICAL MANAGER <br /> (Engine)</strong><br /> <strong><br /> Job Responsibilities</strong><br /> • Monitors all engine and APU assets in the Company’s fleet to ensure lessee complies with AD requirements, OEM recommended SB incorporation, OEM recommendations for both on wing and engine shop visit maintenance and lease agreement provisions. <br /> <br /> • Continuously review technical or operational information from Lessees, Manufacturers, Vendors, Regulatory Authorities and other industry sources and determine how this affects allocated lessees, aircraft or project work leading to implementation of appropriate asset management strategies.<br /> <br /> • Review of lessee’s engine and APU work scope, subsequent shop reports and invoices as part of reserve claim management, maintenance compensation calculations and lease return condition compliance. <br /> <br /> <strong>Requirements</strong><br /> • Aircraft maintenance engineer licences with at least 10 years of working experience in the aviation industry, preferably with an airline, maintenance organization or leasing company. <br /> <br /> • Extensive background in engine maintenance and engineering management. Preference will be given to individuals who have extensive ‘in shop’ and ‘on wing’ fleet management experience of CFM56 / V2500 / CF6 / Trent Family engine types.<br /> <br /> • A self-starter, customer-focussed and able to work independently.<br /> <br /> • Good analytical and decision-making skills. <br /> <br /> • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as is the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. <br /> <br /> • Proficiency in both spoken and written English is a must.<br /> <br /> • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. <br /> <br /> • Be prepared to undertake frequent travels.<br /> <br /> <br /> If you believe you would thrive in a dynamic team-based and global business, then we would like to hear from you.
