<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/Z2lsZXMuc3ltb25kcy4yMTYxMi40MjRAZWxhbml0LmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif" /><br />Role Summary/PurposeSoftware Engineer required to meet demand on an existing avionics military displays project. <br />In this role, you will be part of a team formalising an already developed software baseline to DO-178B Level A standards in a traditional software development environment. <br /> <br />Essential Responsibilities: <br />* Develop UML Design based on the Implementation baseline and perform Validation & Verification using sound engineering principles, adhering to business standards, practices, procedures and product / program requirements. <br />* Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures <br />* Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments <br /> <br />Qualifications/Requirements: <br />* Experience of a developing UML constructs using Artisan Real Time Studio desired. <br />* Experience of software design lifecycle within Aerospace industry. <br />* Experience developing and validating to RTCA DO-178B / EUROCAE ED-12B or similar safety critical standard <br />* Experience of Software Development using C <br />* Experience in productive use of configuration tools (e.g. Dimensions) <br />* Strong technical aptitude <br />* Good oral and written communication skills <br />* Good problem solving and solution building skills <br /> <br />This position is for a UK Military projects and successful applicants will be required to have or gain SC level clearance. <br />
