<p><strong>Stress Engineer<br /> Stans, Switzerland</strong><br /> <br /> Our Structural Engineering Department has an immediate opening for a Senior Stress Engineer.<br /> <strong><br /> This challenging position involves:</strong><br /> • Structural Analysis - Classic Static Stress Analysis & Numerical Simulation<br /> • Performance of stress analyses and preparation of certification reports, documenting analyses and results<br /> • Static analysis of the airframe structure based on Finite element Models<br /> • Application of Finite element modeling techniques on the given structure<br /> • Definition, preparation and support of structural testing and preparation of certification reports documenting the testing and the results<br /> • Management of internal groups and liaison with external companies performing check stress analysis or structural testing for Pilatus<br /> <strong><br /> For this position you are required to have the following skills and background:</strong><br /> • University graduate MSc and 5 to 10 years postgraduate experience in stress analysis and project management within the aircraft industry<br /> • Familiarity with MSC NASTRAN, FEMAP and LS-DYNA or similar packages is required<br /> • Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken<br /> • Sound engineering judgment, a co-operative and open attitude and an enthusiasm to develop ones skills<br /> • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, be self-tasking, and able to work under tight timelines<br /> <br /> For further information please contact Daniel Haenni, Team Leader Structural Engineering, <br /> phone: +41 41 619 64 64<br /> <br /> <strong>Application documents to:</strong><br /> Ursula Zimmermann, Human Resources Manager<br /> Pilatus Aircraft Ltd, P.O.
