<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/ZmlvbmEuaGVuZHJ5LjcxMjI2LjQyNEBlbGFuaXQuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif" /><br />To produce and maintain layout drawings, artworks, specification drawings and manufacturing drawings suitable for a variety of manufacturing processes. <br /> <br />Responsibilities: <br />*Production of layout designs from a combination of internally generated specifications and Customer supplied information in accordance with published design guidelines and suitable for established manufacturing processes. <br />*Modification and maintenance of existing layout designs in response to Process Engineering, Quality and Customer requirements and in support of component and material obsolescence. <br />*Production of component and piece part procurement drawings. <br />*Production of engineering drawings suitable for internal and external manufacture of jigs and tools. <br />*Production of a range of manufacturing drawings suitable for individual stages of product assembly. <br />*Perform as a member of various Engineering teams in support of new products within Samples manufacturing and Development projects. <br />*Assist Design Group Manager in the maintenance, upgrade and day to day running of the CAD system. <br /> <br />Requirements: <br />*Having a recognised Engineering qualification in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering at Degree/HNC/BTEC/Diploma or equivalent level or with demonstrable equivalent experience <br />*A methodical approach with attention to detail is essential in this role. <br /> <br />Desired Requirements: <br />*Working knowledge of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout design, microelectronic assembly design and mechanical design using AutoCad and 3D Inventor. <br />*A good team player who demonstrates enthusiasm and motivation to meet tight deadlines. <br />*Knowledge of using design CAD tools and demonstrated experience in use <br />*Ability to understand and implement design lay-outs for overall assemblies and applying drawing standards <br />*Ability to work in a global environment <br />*Strong oral and written communication skills <br />*Strong interpersonal and leadership skills <br />*Good knowledge of engineering materials, such as those used in microelectronic assembly and packaging. <br /> <br />Benefits Include: <br />*Exciting Projects <br />*Real World Challenges <br />*Flexible Benefits <br />*Pension Scheme <br />*Share Option Scheme <br />*Good Opportunities for Career Development, Regular Reviews and Career Planning. <br />*Good Location and Working Environment.. <br />*Free On-Site Parking <br /> <br />Successful applicants will be required to undergo UK MOD security clearance prior to appointment. <br /> <br />
