About this role

<p>Our Client in Germany requires a Senior Systems Engineer, capable of leading a section of engineers.<br /> <br /> Experience , knowledge and competence in the following: <br /> <br /> Definition, Modelling and Validation of a system/subsystem.<br /> <br /> Analysis of customer requirements and translation of those requirements into validated functional requirements for the system/subsystem.<br /> Development of a system/subsystem, together with external suppliers, in order to meet the functional requirements and to establish the boundaries of the design.<br /> Analysis of the system/subsystem with regards to its functionality, this includes modelling and simulation if required, in order to prove that the design meets the functional requirements. This includes as well environmental qualification.<br /> Coordination and working together with other disciplines to define the system specifications.<br /> Compilation of technical reports to support the standardisation of the system/subsystem.<br /> <br /> The system/subsystem consists of<br /> <br /> Fuel metering units<br /> Fuel pump units<br /> Variable stator vane actuators<br /> Buffer air valves<br /> Starter air valves<br /> Compressor bleed valves<br /> Heat management systems<br /> Air to air cooler<br /> Air to liquid cooler<br /> <br /> Additionally it will be the candidates responsibility to lead a small team of engineers, i.e. ensure they follow the processes and deliver the right quality in the right time. Negotiation with projects about the work load and resourcing the projects lies within this responsibility. The candidate will work closely with the Chief of the department ,who has the overall responsibility for the team.<br /> <br /> Candidates should have at least a Bachelors Degree , in an engineering discipline (i.e. mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalent).<br /> Experience in managing interfaces (i.e. external suppliers and/or functional groups).<br /> Experience in pneumatics and/or fuel system is preferred.<br /> More than 5 years experience within the aerospace engineering.<br /> Knowledge in RTCA/DO-160, RTCA/DO-254 (for complex systems), DOORs, MATLAB.<br /> Fluent in English written and spoken.<br /> You must currently hold the right to live and work in Germany for this position. EU Citizens.</p>
