Discover your future! <b> <br /> <br />The Position:</b> </p><ul> <li>Develop and implement a mid-term operational strategy for Bangladesh under the direction of Regional Manager -Cargo Commercial (RMCC); to contribute towards the attainment of service quality and support achieving revenue objectives of the cargo operations across Bangladesh online and offline Stations. </li><li>Establish annual operational focus areas at national level in consultation with RMCC. Develop measurable national objectives to facilitate implementation. Liaise with RMCC and Station's Operation-in-Charge to cascade national operational objectives to local level objectives. </li><li>Agree a detailed action plan with RMCC and Operational Station -in- Charge to realise the local objectives including SLAs typical to every station but largely aligned to national objectives. </li><li>Provide support and direction to Operational -in-charge in coordination with RMCC to organise and co-ordinate the operational activities of individual stations to ensure optimal and efficient cargo operation and productivity in the handling process for passenger and freighter aircraft services. </li><li>Participate and assist RMCC in cargo GHA / ramp handler / other cargo service providers evaluation, appointment and renewal process for stations. </li><li>Establish National SLA and an automated service quality score card; support stations develop a local SLA and an automated service quality score card measuring key milestones in cargo acceptance, transportation and delivery. Provide the requisite customer service information and facilitate generation of periodic reports and statistical information related to service delivery . Initiate and follow through corrective actions to improve service levels along with RMCC and Operations Stations-in-charge. </li><li>Guide and provide operational policy guidelines to SkyCargo staff in Bangladesh ensuring compliance with company / local regulations, policies and procedures with purpose of uniformity of cargo service standards including safety and security related areas. </li><li>Ensure that Ground Handling Agents/Cargo Handling Agents and other service suppliers are fully briefed regarding EK's changing needs and priorities e.g. FSUs and that they deliver them in a timely and efficient manner so that cargo handling proceeds smoothly. </li><li>Act as safety adviser for the transport of dangerous goods. </li><li> Maintain an oversight of cargo irregularities, trends on o delays on account of cargo , disruptions, cargo mishandling and brief RMCC on , its potential adverse impact on operations and customers and corrective actions to be taken Develop SOPs for Offline feed through RFS development based on Cargo Manager commercial business requirements. </li> </ul> <p><b>Salary & Benefits:</b>We offer our employee's competitive remuneration packages, attractive travel benefits, and career development supported by multi-million dollar training facilities in Dubai, and e-Learning programmes for those seeking a long-term future in the Company. <br /> <br /><b>Experience and Qualifications:</b> </p><ul> <li>High school level of education or equivalent </li><li>Minimum of 12 years experience in Airport Ground Handling Services and must have sound knowledge of Emirates route network and aircraft. </li><li>Should have successfully completed the relevant professional training such as Passenger Services, Baggage Services, Cargo, Weight and Balance and Reservations and Ticketing. </li><li>The job requires the candidate to work in a proactive manner and use initiative top resolve discrepancies and unforeseen problems using set guidelines. </li><li>Computer literate. </li> </ul> <p><b>Must have the right to work and live in Bangladesh.
