Discover your future! <br /><b> <br /> <br />The Position:</b> </p><p>To monitor and control all maintenance activities and ensure that all equipment and machinery are fully operational and reliable. <br />Ensure compliance to safe practices and promote safety awareness amongst the staff. </p><p> <br /><b>Job Outline </b><b> </b></p><ul><b> </b><li><b></b>Monitor and control all maintenance activities in Facilities to ensure that the maintenance work and repairs are performed as per the manufacturer's recommendations/standards and ensures the provision of a support operation to meet the 24 / 7 needs of Facilities (Commerical and Residential). </li><li>Periodically inspect and audit the work carried out to ensure it meets the standards and safety procedures required and to resolve any operational issues with the stakeholders. </li><li>Ensure that serviceability tests and quality checks are carried out after completion of maintenance work, in order to certify the equipment suitable for use by operations. This will include but not limited to (snag rectifications, modifications, engine and transmission overhaul, control, electronic, electrical and energy conservative programs). </li><li>Manage and lead the maintenance team, with respect to safety compliance, work performance, staff training and development. </li><li>Continually improve the operational efficiency and recommend processes to eliminate repetitive breakdowns or failures thus ensuring maximum serviceability of the equipment plant and machinery </li><li>Responsible to develop & maintain facility engineering drawings, Operation Manual, SOP?s, prepare scope of work and arrange the materials and consumables as per the requirements. </li><li>Support the relevant Line Manager during the preparation of annual budget by accurately forecasting resource requirements to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. </li><li>Ensures optimal utilization of the Maintenance Management System and other systems and procedures put in place and provide periodic feedback to the relevant Line Manager. </li><li>Engage in projects/specialised tasks as directed by the relevant line manager. <br /></li> </ul> <p><b>Salary & Benefits: </b> </p><p>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66.
