<br /> <p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><b>Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC)</b> , an Emirates Group associated company, is the world's largest in-flight catering operation providing in-flight catering and support services for airlines from Dubai International Airport. With a workforce of over 6500 multinational employees and four work sites, EKFC has a clientele of 120 airlines and airline hospitality lounges in Dubai International Airport as well as running a large off airport Food and Beverage business. </p><p> </p><p>This position is within the Automation section for the Engineering Department. </p><p> </p><p><b>Reporting to Assistant Vice President - Engineering, your responsibilities will include: </b> </p><p> </p><ul> <li>Deliver a cost effective maintenance service to EKFC operations through management of an effective and efficient and scheduled preventive breakdown maintenance service of all units in the facility. </li><li>Ensuring availability for asset history for each equipment; and predicting faults and issues based on the history information. </li><li>Reviewing all carried out preventive maintenance checklists and carrying out required action based on the findings. </li><li>Ensuring availability of all critical spare parts. </li><li>Sourcing for alternative suppliers and negotiating to reduce the cost of the spares. </li><li>Control maintenance expenditure to budget by being accountable for accurate forecasting of major engineering activities at EKFC. </li><li>Arrange for all required materials and resources that are required to ensure timely executive of the project. </li><li>Scheduling major maintenance activities and coordinating them with concerned departments. </li><li>Accountable for ensuring the maintenance teams have clearly documented roles, responsibilities, expectations and accountabilities. </li><li>Sets clear performance objectives that are clear, specific, challenging and achievable and provides regular and appropriate performance feedback to staff. </li><li>Responsible for the ongoing development of Maintenance Systems, Procedures, Work Practices towards Best Practice and Lean Manufacturing Excellence. </li><li>Resolving work related grievances within the team. </li><li>Responsible for identifying Training Needs and execution of plans for the engineering teams </li><li>Continual improvements and meet Key Result and Performance Criteria expectations in accordance with the departmental expectations derived from business plans. </li><li>Responsible for ensuring safe working practices and procedures are implemented in accordance with the company Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental policy. </li> </ul> <p><b>Experience & Qualifications: </b> </p><p> </p><ul> <li>Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. </li><li>Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Systems. </li><li>Previous hands on experience in Airline Catering Industry. </li><li>Working knowledge of stacker cranes i.e (3-axis system) </li><li>Knowledge of different communication protocols, such as RS232, RS485 Ethernet BacNet. </li><li>Knowledge of BMS system. </li><li>Knowledge of Database and SQL. </li><li>Troubleshooting knowledge of the below communication networks Profibus, Lon Works, EIB </li><li>Ability to download programs to below PLCs like Siemens, Mitsubishi Pilz </li><li>Configuring Devices like SEW Eurodrive VFDs, Mitsubishi Servo Amplifiers, LanTronix (RS232 to Ethernet), Mitsubishi I/O expansion modules </li> </ul> <p> </p><p> </p><p>Salary & Benefits: Salary package will be discussed during the interview to successful candidates. </p><p> </p> Please click the Apply now button and search for reference:HMBS/AA/20575
