<p>Our Client, who is at the forefront of lighter than air structures and fabric technology such as aerostats and pneumatic structures and engaged is some state of the art projects, are currently seeking a Chief Engineer. They are based in the North West Region of the UK and with another manufacturing facility in the USA</p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <p>A Mechanical/Stress Engineer educated to degree level.</p> <p>Leadership and management experience along with leading the Design Team, responsibilities of the Chief Engineer will include: <br /> <br /> Mechanical Engineering Design of the product range including new concepts <br /> <br /> Design Office Administration</p> <p><em>Mechanical Drawings <br /> Technical Documentation<br /> Specifications <br /> Stress Reports <br /> Airworthiness applications, type certificates, mod applications, etc <br /> DO software<br /> Support of other members of the Design Team</em></p> <p><br /> Sales Support</p> <p><em>Quotations <br /> Concept Design, Drawings and CAD Modelling<br /> Customer Meetings <br /> Customer Liaison</em></p> <p><br /> Purchasing Support</p> <p><em>Specifications <br /> Supplier liaison</em></p> <p><br /> Quality Department Support</p> <p><em>Supplier Audits<br /> Airworthiness Issues<br /> Concessions</em></p> <p><br /> This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is at the forefront in their industry.
