The airline is an employee-focused company with a commitment to providing staff with excellent working conditions and competitive salaries. </p><p>In July 2012, Emirates will commence a daily service from Lisbon to Dubai.<b></b> </p><p><b>Airport Services Manager (m/f)</b> </p><p>You will manage and ensure safe, efficient and timely airport operations at Lisbon International Airport to ensure that Emirates' image, reputation and customer service levels are maintained and enhanced to the highest standards. You will implement and periodically review strategy to ensure that all Emirates airport staff carry out the procedures, standards and instructions as laid down by Airport Services. You will be responsible for ensuring that Ground Handling performance targets as set by Airport Services, such as flight punctuality, check-in standards and baggage delivery times, are achieved, so that Emirates remains competitive. This will be achieved through regular liaison with the management of Handling Agents and other service suppliers in order to identify problem areas and find corresponding solutions. </p><p>You will ensure adequate measures are implemented and maintained in order to protect the safety and security of the whole operation including aircraft, passengers, cargo, baggage and all staff. Furthermore, you will monitor all aspects of the airport operation to achieve and maintain high customer service standards. You will also exercise budgetary control on expenditure and maximise excess baggage and ticket sales revenue. </p><p> </p><p>Finally, you will be responsible for leading, guiding and developing staff to maintain a disciplined and motivated work force and ensure that administrative tasks, claim settlements and general correspondence are processed in an accurate and timely manner. You will also be responsible for preparing and constantly reviewing local procedures as well as Diversion/Delay Handling/Disruptions and Emergency Procedures for the reference of Emirates staff and Handling Agent. </p><p> </p><p><b>Experience and Qualifications: </b> </p><p>Educated up to degree level or equivalent, you will have an airline industry background and extensive experience at managerial level in airport operations. You will be experienced to an advanced level in Passenger Services, Load Control, Baggage Tracing and Ticketing and possess extensive knowledge of Systems, especially DCS, Reservations and Baggage Reconciliation. You will also be conversant in Flight Planning and Cargo Operations. You will have proven ability in leading, motivating and developing staff and be a sound decision maker and be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure.
