Discover your future! <b> <br /> <br />The Position:</b> </p><ul> <li>The job holder will be responsible for planning, organizing and managing the publication of the Duty Free In-flight Shopping Guide, including all collateral material required for the launch of this brochure and to create and prepare all marketing concepts required by the retail outlets for in-shop promotions. </li> </ul> <p><b> <br />Job Outline</b> <br /> </p><ul> <li>Source support materials such as video adverts, products and product descriptions required for the inclusion in the Duty Free In-flight Shopping Guide/ Duty Free ICE channel, from an extensive range of external suppliers, to ensure that these materials are organised and appropriately presented to Corporate Communications department, Passenger Communication and Visual Services department and the Graphic Design Unit to meet the production schedule for a timely publication of the brochure. Prepare, confirm and send 6 month contracts for all suppliers listed in each new brochure. <br /> <br /> </li><li>Manage and guide the selected Studio by taking decisions on all the photographic images for the brochure to ensure all images used in the Duty Free Inflight Shopping Guide and Duty Free channel on the ICE system, are eye catching and appealing, to attract the potential buyer to purchase these items; thus increasing sales onboard. This includes creating the page layout and pagination of the brochure in coordination with the Graphic Design Unit. <br /> <br /> </li><li>Coordinate and produce the bi-yearly Duty Free Newsletter, and cabin crew awareness campaigns (E.g. Pull-ups , posters, crew portal adverts) for the launch of the new Duty Free In-flight Shopping Guide as well as updating the Duty Free product display in the crew departures area, to ensure all cabin crew are familiarised with the latest product information prior to launch. This will entail liaising with the Graphic Design Unit for support materials. <br /> <br /> </li><li>Design and produce creative marketing concepts for the retail outlets in conjunction with the Retail Services Manager, to maximise sales revenue and deplete old stock during seasonal promotions. This includes the creation of pull-ups, posters, adverts for Groupworld and Crew portal, by working closely with the Corporate Communications department, Graphic Design Unit and external agencies. <br /> <br /> </li><li>In conjunction with the Retail Services Manager, negotiate enticing rewards with external suppliers to be able to propose, plan and develop a creative incentives calendars for the 6 month validity of the brochure that will motivate and reward all grades of cabin crew in order to maximise revenue and increase sales on lower selling routes. <br /> <br /> </li><li>Assist the Retail Services Manager in developing and implementing new sales channels for Duty Free products, such as mail order, pre order, internet retailing and local deliveries, to enable Duty Free services to maximise potential revenue return. <br /></li> </ul> <p> <br /> <br /><b>Qualifications</b> </p><ul> <li>12 years schooling or equivalent plus 8 years within a customer service industry in a sales, service or marketing role, or graduate with 5 years relevant job experience. </li><li>Knowledge of Duty Free retails sales environment is preferable. </li><li>Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office: MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint <br /></li> </ul> <p> <br /><b>Experience</b> </p><ul> <li>Marketing & Media Communication / Advertising 5 Years <br /></li> </ul> <p><b>Salary & Benefits:</b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66.
