They currently require an experienced Buyer to purchase materials and services to meet the company's cost, quality and delivery requirements. <br />Key duties include: <br />*Place purchase orders <br />*Manage suppliers to improve costs, quality and delivery <br />*Manage inventory <br />*Liaise with suppliers and materials control to ensure continuity of supply <br />*Ensure MRP data is accurate <br />This is an outstanding opportunity for a Buyer with a strong background in aerospace, defence, manufacturing or engineering to assist in driving the business. The successful candidate will be CIPS qualified, or willing to be CIPS qualified, with a good understanding of the supply chain function. They will be a strong analyst with excellent negotiation skills. They will have extensive experience of MRP/ERP systems and will be able to demonstrate knowledge of export requirements. <br />Due to the high volume of applications received we are unable to respond to every applicant.
