<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/bmlraXRhc2hlbGxhcmQuOTc5MTUuNDI0QGVsYW5pdC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif" /><br />Mechanical Engineer must have: <br />*Knowledge and understanding of Aircraft Systems and general aircraft operation <br />*Sound knowledge in the Mechanical Systems Specialist Technical area <br />*Technical experience throughout the air vehicle life cycle <br />*Ability to make sound Technical judgements in the Mechanical Systems specialist area <br /> <br />Mechanical systems Engineer Ideally would have: <br />*Knowledge and understanding of Military Aircraft Systems and general aircraft operation <br />*Knowledge and previous experience with, depending on position employed for: <br />?Heavy aircraft (e.g. C-130, A400, VC10) <br />?Helicopters (e.g. Merlin, Chinook) <br />?Combat Air (e.g. Typhoon, Tornado or similar) <br />*A sound understanding of evaluation and test methodology <br />*Customer interface experience in an Aerospace organisation <br />*Supplier interface experience in an Aerospace organisation <br />*Sound knowledge of Technical Governance <br />Accountability for authorising <br /> <br />Along with: <br />*Minimum of an ONC or similar qualification in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent experience) <br />*Computer literate <br />*Team Player offering guidance and help to others to help inform decisions <br />*Flexibility <br />*Good communication, influencing, interpersonal and people management skills, and demonstrates ability to engage with stakeholders across the wider business; the job holder must be able to communicate clearly and unambiguously with customers and staff and check understanding <br />*Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environment and Quality policies and Procedures <br /> <br /> <br />
