<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/cmFjaGFlbGEuMjAxNTAuNDI0QHJlc291cmNlZ3JvdXAuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif" /><br /> <br />Working predominantly from our modern head office in Worcester, there will also be opportunities to be customer facing whilst visiting our clients on site. <br />With a considerable amount of work being at the requirements end, you must be able to demonstrate experience in this area. <br />You will be focused and able to competently work alone on projects or as part of a team, with the ability to plan and report upon the status of your workload. <br /> <br />In this role you will: <br /> <br />Undertake Systems Engineering activities associated with all phases of the design and development of real-time controlled systems, including but not limited to: <br /> <br />Development and management of System Requirements <br /> <br />System architecture design and evaluation with reference to design assurance level, hazard analyses and safety assessments, human factors, manufacturing and procurement constraints, testability and supportability <br /> <br />Subsystem / Unit functional and physical specification <br /> <br />Control system design and evaluation, including parameter estimation, design of algorithms, tuning and both theoretical and practical analyses <br /> <br />System performance analyses e.g. frequency response, robustness, stability <br /> <br />Generation and review of Systems Engineering reports <br /> <br />Interface control, including development of unit interfaces (physical and characteristics), selection of connectors, devices and cables, system to system compatibility, liaison with other suppliers <br /> <br />Simulation modelling (typically Matlab/Simulink) <br /> <br />Generation of System functional or environmental test plans and procedures; assessment of system test results and generation of test reports <br /> <br />Interface directly with customers, suppliers and other divisions to obtain and provide appropriate technical information <br /> <br />Provide systems engineering support for the design and implementation of Real-Time Embedded System software and hardware <br /> <br />Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Systems Engineering group <br /> <br />Career opportunities: <br />REP recognises the importance of investing in their staff and offer on-going training, development and a clear career path to encourage those with ambitions to progress.
