Discover your future! <br /><b> <br /> <br />The Position: </b> </p><p>Monitor compliance of catering and cabin dressing contractors to Emirates Flight Packing and Loading instructions to ensure flights are packed and loaded to specification and contribute efficiently maintaining onboard product and service levels. <br /> <br /><b>Job Outline</b> <br /> </p><ul> <li>Monitor and record local caterer's compliance to EK Flight Packing and Loading Instructions, by carrying out flight checks at EKFC and on board departure to ensure flights loaded to required standard and equipment flows between catering stations are balanced. </li><li>Monitor and record overseas caterers compliance to EK Galley Packing/Loading Instructions by carrying out checks on inbound flights (onboard and in the Ware wash) to ensure compliance to loading instructions. Follow through short receipts with caterers to ensure short loading issues are addressed. </li><li>Monitor contractor compliance to Emirates Reading Product Uplift Plan for flights by carrying out checks and recording same in the Performance Management System. Collect and analyse usage data on the reading product at the end of flights, and make recommendations to amend uplift quantities/titles to ensure product demand being fulfilled efficiently. </li><li>Prepare periodic reports on individual station adherence to Galley Packing Plans, by extracting data from the Catering Performance module, identify trends if any, to make recommendations where change required or issues to be addressed. </li><li>Authorise issues of all catering items from EKFC Bulk Stores by reviewing stock position in all areas of the working float and approve where justified to ensure control exercised over equipment flows between catering stations. </li><li>Determine and despatch via cabin rotable stock to overseas caterers by evaluating urgent request received and co-ordinating with Catering Officer (SCM&L) and local caterers to ensure no disruption to onboard product and service standards due to lack of stock. </li><li>Arrange for the preventive maintenance of ROB/Standard equipment during aircraft `C' checks by planning and executing this with EKFC and the Maintenance Workshop to ensure safe operation of equipment on board flights. </li><li>Manage the onboard availability and serviceability of Polaroid Cameras, KIS printers along with its accessories like batteries, A4 size paper, cartridges film packs, photo sleeves etc., by checking aircraft on arrival and replenishing stock for flight use. </li><li>Arrange for the repairs and return of defective KIS printers/cameras by coordinating with EKFC, EGIT and suppliers to ensure unserviceable stocks repaired and returned back into the operation in a timely manner. </li><li>Monitor loading and offloading of headsets/in-flight reading material by carrying out physical checks on the aircrafts to ensure adherence to loading instructions. Address discrepancies with suppliers by recording findings in the Performance Management system for immediate follow-up action. </li> </ul> <p> <br /><b>Salary & Benefits: </b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66.
