<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/ZXdhbmxhd3Nvbi4xMzc2OC40MjRAZWxhbml0LmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif" /><br />Lead Engineer / Design Authority required with very specific experience of developing and accepting underwater acoustic equipment ie Sonar Arrays. <br /> <br />Due to the nature of the work undertaken the successful candidate will need full SC Clearance prior to starting so current SC is highly desirable. <br /> <br />The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge of underwater acoustic equipments and design from a Maritime background. Experienced in leading a technical or engineering team and working in all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle in a software or product delivery environment. Possess the ability and willingness to be 'hands-on' with system engineering tasks as part of the project (i.e. produce requirements, high level design and test specifications), especially in smaller or less complex projects. The ability to decompose complex issues to an appropriate level of detail, in a methodical manner. Experience of being the System Design Authority for a project / equipment. Appreciation of diverse technologies. <br /> <br />It is anticipated you will have knowledge of Test & Evaluation Maritime Range capability with previous experience of delivering complex Maritime Projects for the UK MOD. <br /> <br />You will have ownership of the technical solution and be very hands-on.
