<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/bmlraXRhc2hlbGxhcmQuNzQ4ODMuNDI0QGV4cGVyaXN1ay5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif" /><br /><p>Compliance resource for other engineers, requiring a strong working knowledge of CE compliance legislation, especially LVD (LVD, EMC and Machinery directives) and its application to new designs.</p> <ul> <li>Review existing Compliance-related documentation and update it to a consistent, current standard</li> <li>Preparation of CE Technical Documentation Files.</li> <li>Ability to work closely with other Design and Manufacturing Engineers and Project Managers</li> <li>Good time management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple activities.</li> <li>Technical document preparation - test schedules and procedures.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>QUALIFICATIONS: </strong></p> <p>Team player and self-starter with the ability to operate without detailed work direction</p> <ul> <li>Ability to communicate with engineers at all levels, both in an R&D and a manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Must currently possess all the necessary work and residency permits to work in theUKand preferably EU.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>DESIRED:</strong></p> <p>Knowledge of ATEX, GOST compliance would be an advantage.</p> <ul> <li>Practical knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, as relating to compliance with Safety and Compliance regulations.</li> <li>A good understanding of the electrical and mechanical aspects of equipment design.</li> <li>Ability to prioritize between multiple projects that may be running concurrently.</li> </ul> <p><strong>GENERAL:</strong> <br />GE Oil and Gas Drilling and Production is an integration of related businesses sharing a common focus including: asset management and optimization software, high technology sensors, control systems services, integrated systems and services for customer value.</p> <p>Sondex Oilfield Technology is a recently acquired business specialising in the design and manufacture of oil and gas instrumentation. Typical designs must work in corrosive fluids, pressures of 1000 atmospheres and temperatures above 150C.</p>
