<br /> <p><b>Discover your future! </b> </p><p> </p><p>Performance Development (PD) drives business performance improvement projects for divisions and business units across the Emirates Group, to deliver significant business benefits by delivering on process and organisational improvement strategies and projects. </p><p><b>The Position </b> </p><p>By joining the Emirates Group within Performance Development, you will become a major contributor to the success of one of the world's leading airlines /group of companies and also play an integral part in projects that support the organisation?s profitable expansion. <br /> <br />These projects will require the jobholder to exploit their industrial engineering and operations research skills and knowledge of process review and analysis, to explore new ways of analysing data, and also challenge them to develop innovative and implementable recommendations that will further improve the performance of their client departments. <br /> <br />The job holder will also be required to advise business units on appropriate productivity norms and standards and agree Key Performance Indicators (KPI) through the application of relevant IE and Operations Research techniques. <br /> <br />Candidates must be able to support and lead the following types of projects: <br /> <br /><b>Innovation :</b> Identify and manage introduction of new methods, tools and techniques (e.g. Customer Relationship Management, Simulation, Supply Chain Management, Key Account Management) to provide innovative solutions to address process and organisational challenges <br /> <br /><b>Developments:</b> Identify and implement changes necessary to successfully manage growth. (E.g. Contact Management, Sales Channel Management, Develop new Airport Services processes for new facilities, On Time Performance, Benchmarking) <br /> <br /><b>Improvements:</b> Identify and manage opportunities for performance improvement with client business units and other support service departments e.g. Human Resources, Finance (E.g. Process simplification, Workflow, Budget reviews, Unit cost analysis, Continuous improvement teams, KPI (Key Performance Indicators) trending and targeting etc.) <br /> <br /> </p><p><b>Experience and Qualifications:</b> </p><p>In order to apply, you must have the following: </p><p><b>Qualifications: </b> </p><ul> <li>Graduate in Industrial Engineering, or graduate level education in scientific/ commercial discipline. </li><li>Postgraduate degree/ diploma or MBA is preferred. </li> </ul> <p><b>Experience:</b> </p><ul> <li>2 years experience in the fields related to processes and productivity improvement in a reputed organisation. </li><li>Experience in a Performance Development/improvement role or Consultancy is a distinct advantage. </li><li>Airline or airport services industry experience is desirable. </li> </ul> <p><b>Knowledge/skills: </b> </p><ul> <li>Good understanding of Project Management methodologies. </li><li>Strong business awareness of change management and business process re-engineering. </li><li>People management skills to be able to handle the diverse group of staff and conflict situations in the job situation. </li><li>Good knowledge of Innovation techniques, programme management, customer relationship management </li><li>Advanced knowledge of process improvement, organisation design, project management, business planning. i.e. Six Sigma, Lean methodologies. </li> </ul> <p><b>We are looking for someone that has the following competencies: </b> </p><ul> <li>Strong business awareness. </li><li>A strategic thinker. </li><li>Good leadership skills. </li><li>The ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels. </li><li>Highly organised and results focused. </li><li>Adaptable to change and be an innovative thinker. </li> </ul> <p> </p><p><b>Salary & Benefits: </b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66.
