Discover your future! <br /> <br /><b>The Position: </b>To research, identify and develop the current and future improvements/modifications/solutions to the automatic fare quote/pricing/ticketing applications with ATPCO (Airline Tariff Publishing Co) and the GDS/CRS global fare quote (FQT) system vendors. You will also lead the functional analysis of assigned business areas through constant interaction with the process owners and customers. To co-develop and implement the fare distribution strategies/tactics and to provide ongoing coaching within the Unit for new products, system enhancements and procedures, training of existing/new staff and other airlines that are hosted on MARS, as developed and introduced. <br /> <br /> <br /><b>Salary & Benefits: </b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66. University graduate, <br />? 5 years experience in the airline industry of which a minimum of 3 years working with passenger tariffs, passenger pricing, electronic fare distribution. <br />? Experience in developing GDS/CRS FQT systems. <br />? Expert fares certification obtained through Industry, IATA and in house sponsored and approved courses. <br />? ATP certification in fare and rule distribution methodologies and applications. <br />? Expert knowledge of ATPCO's automated rules system that includes fares and rules coding on various platforms, e.g., e Connect. <br />? In-depth knowledge of IATA's fares and rules standards, regulations, resolutions, recommended practices and fare quote methodologies. <br />?
