Our expertise in ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering has earned us over 30 awards and the admiration of the industry. </p><p><b>Travel </b> </p><p> </p><p>As the fourth largest travel management company in the world, we manage everything from business and incentive travel and worldwide tour operations - covering leisure, sports and active holidays-through to hotel sales and marketing representation, offshore and marine services, and government and corporate services. </p><p> </p><p><b></b> </p><p><b>Job Purpose</b> </p><p>The main purpose of this role will be to manage the Operational requirements and Strategic goal of Government Travel Services (GTS) by ensuring that the departments business objectives are achieved. You will be required to plan, organize and control the government accounts, semi - government, local corporate accounts and local affairs, ensure the successful achievement of sales objectives established by the company and promote the image and contacts of the company with government agencies and local clients. </p><p> </p><p><b>Job Accountabilities </b> </p><p>In this role you will be required to: </p><ul> <li>Develop and implement business strategies and related policies for GTS to ensure maximum profitability and productivity. </li><li>To manage the overall annual budget for GTS with respect to sales, manpower and overall costs and ensure overall profitability of the business. </li><li>Account Management of sheikh Accounts, Government Entities, Semi-Government Entities and Local corporate client relationships at the CEO and Managing Directors level and ensure the provision of specialised and professional services to ensure sustained and profitable revenue streams for the Company </li><li>Identify new business opportunities within UAE and ensure the successful achievement of the overall business objectives relating to sales, new products, marketing objectives and promote the image of dnata in contacts with government and corporate clients. </li><li>To be aware of all changing market situations, to evaluate information and recommend or implement action or innovation to meet changing circumstances. </li><li>To administer the Sales Force in the most cost effective manner and to operate continually within approved budgets and management policies. </li><li>Manage and monitor the analysis of business transacted and reporting functions in order to ensure that that results are effectively tracked, and proactive action is taken to respond to varying market requirements </li><li>To review and study the comparative weekly and yearly airline wise sales summaries and organize reports with suggestions to improve them. </li><li>To formulate the sales policy of the Government Travel Purchase Orders and streamline the settlement of their payments and sound maintenance of the accounts. </li><li>To select, plan train and develop, sales personnel to ensure a continued improvement in performance and to maintain good morale and achieve departments sales targets. </li> </ul> <p>In order to apply for this role you must have the following: </p><p> </p><p> <b>Qualification </b> </p><ul> <li>Degree/Honours (12 3 or equivalent) in a business related discipline </li> </ul> <p><b>Experience</b> </p><ul> <li>10 years' experience at a senior management capacity in a travel based and or hospitality industry.<b> </b></li> </ul> <p><b>Knowledge</b> </p><ul> <li>Knowledge of business travel in a Travel trade related business is essential. </li><li>Full proficiency in the English and Arabic languages is esstential. </li> </ul> <p><b>Additional Information: </b> </p><ul> <li>The successful candidate must have the ability and drive to represent the company's interests to a high level Government Officials and the local business community. </li><li>Our preference is for a UAE National candidate, however non UAE nationals will also be considered. </li> </ul> <p><b></b><b>Critical Competencies </b> </p><ul> <li>Strategic Thinking </li><li>Problem Solving & Decision Making </li><li>Organising for Results </li><li>Leadership </li><li>Influence & Negotiation </li><li>Adaptability & Innovation </li> </ul> Please click the Apply now button and search for reference:MCT/HA/20796
