Our expertise in ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering has earned us over 30 awards and the admiration of the industry. </p><p><b>Travel </b> </p><p> </p><p>As the fourth largest travel management company in the world, we manage everything from business and incentive travel and worldwide tour operations - covering leisure, sports and active holidays-through to hotel sales and marketing representation, offshore and marine services, and government and corporate services. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><b>Job Purpose</b> </p><p>In this role you will be required to develop and implement an online strategic b2c business plan in order to set and generate online revenue for dnata Travel. Furthermore, you will be required to plan and manage the sales and marketing of the dnata Travel online products and services, including tactical activity and offers, and develop relationships with other online travel and travel related services. </p><p><b>Job Outline</b> </p><ul> <li>Accountable for the commercial aspects of dnata Travel's E-Commerce effort in communication, interaction and purchasing services. Establish country online revenue targets through negotiation with Yield management, Suppliers (Air & Non-Air) and Regional GMs to achieve online revenue target. Align policies, processes and procedures between the online channel and other sales channels, and implement the plan across the full dnata travel network. <br /> </li><li>Design market specific online strategic business plans with Regional GMs, including the support to developing a pricing and communication strategy with other stakeholders, and oversee their implementation. Provide frequent review of country online strategies and monitor the channel's sales performance. Align commercial's online objectives and strategies with that of other distribution channels and manage internal relationships with all stakeholders. <br /> </li><li>Build a strategic business plan to research, implement and manage new revenue streams and the commercial business development relationships in a cost effective manner. Evaluate market opportunity and develop consumer proposition and business processes accordingly. Conceptualise and develop brief for implementation and plan roll-out through market acquisition and provide sales force education. Lead and co-ordinate efforts between other stakeholders as required. Develop and deliver business cases, negotiate and manage commercial agreements. <br /> </li><li>Develop and manage the strategy to commercialise new online products, services and tools. This includes the development and management of an E-Communication strategy with support of Product Development for regional deployment. Co-ordinate market and head office stakeholders to plan, develop and communicate frequent consumer offerings. Manage resources and processes to ensure alignment across the launched campaigns and optimise for improved performance or sales force adoption when required. <br /> </li><li>With the Product Development team, develop and enhance a strategic communications toolkit for the sales force to improve the utilisation and speed to market of commercial offers and employ best practice to increase consumer penetration and sales conversions. Develop a database marketing strategy for dnata Travel's e-database and this includes the management of the e-mail channel to meet commercial objectives. <br /> </li><li>Provide direct line management and leadership to the E-Commerce sales development team locally and regionally where dnata is present. Assess promotional online activities and provide guidance to optimise sales and marketing strategies. Provide leadership through discussion of market conditions and challenges, sales and product updates at the local and global levels and plan and conduct sales meetings. <br /> </li><li>Manage the budgets for dnata Travel online channels. Govern the provision of accurate reporting services to manage and engage commercial business factions. <br /> </li><li>Plan tactical activities and product or service launches. With the dnata Travel Contact Centre management team, ensure the provision of adequate customer service for all telephone and e-mail customers. <br /> </li><li>Coordinate the Performance Management (PM!) process for staff across the section, ensuring quality and timely completion of reviews for the team. Manage the team's performance through coaching, encouraging staff development and progression, and motivate the team by role modelling leadership and team-working behaviours. </li> </ul> <p>In order to apply for this role you must have the following: </p><p><b>Qualifications</b> </p><ul> <li>Degree or Honours (12 3 or equivalent) in business or marketing . </li> </ul> <p><b>Experience: </b> </p><ul> <li>8 years experience in the Travel / Airline Industry in a marketing/sales and E-commerce capacity. </li><li>Customer Service and Relationship Managment experience is required. </li> </ul> <p><b>Knowledge and skills: </b> </p><ul> <li>Strong negotiating and influence skills to manage relationships with external parties, and strong communication skills to interact with senior level business managers. </li><li>Specific knowledge of the sales environment of the travel industry, including an understanding of the Internet, e-commerce, direct sales and marketing. </li> </ul> Please click the Apply now button and search for reference:ESM/HA/20799
