Our expertise in ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering has earned us over 30 awards and the admiration of the industry. </p><p><b>Travel </b> </p><p> </p><p>As the fourth largest travel management company in the world, we manage everything from business and incentive travel and worldwide tour operations - covering leisure, sports and active holidays-through to hotel sales and marketing representation, offshore and marine services, and government and corporate services. </p><p> </p><p><b></b> </p><p><b>Job Purpose</b> </p><p>The main focus of this role will be to manage and implement the strategic non-air product expansion plans and consistently ensure that dnata Travel maintains its standards, values and image, based on set guidelines and targets. </p><p><b>Job Outline</b> </p><p>In this role you will be required to: </p><ul> <li>Develop, manage and enhance Non-Air supplier relationships with hotels, global chain of hotel groups, DMC's and 3rd party suppliers at senior decision making levels. Provide dnata and suppliers with a reliable point of contact on all aspects related to contracting and to ensure that's Non-Air products remains commercially competitive. <br /> </li><li>Research, analysis, appoint, manage relationships and performance of suppliers so that they continue to provide professional service to dnata Travel customers. <br /> </li><li>Lobby, influence and pro-actively contribute to product selection and pricing requirements for the regions, through high quality communication throughout the year and during brochure brief production based on regional market intelligence, operational dynamics and competitor activity, while remaining within the dnata customer segment target and yield strategy. <br /> </li><li>Manage, monitor, validate, drive action and find solutions as required, pro-actively co-ordinating with relevant internal departments and internal and external suppliers to ensure that UAE and regional revenue sales targets are not compromised. <br /> </li><li>Provide monthly reports, incorporating results achieved (in terms of source market growth, customer numbers, yield and overall revenue), activity completed and costs that had a direct impact on the results. <br /> </li><li>Monitor Non-Air product sales performance by efficiently utilising the technology and internal/external contact networks and then take necessary measure to ensure that dnata Travel meets its commercial and operational targets. <br /> </li><li>Ensure the delivery of dnata Travel holiday brochures for distribution across all source markets in UAE and through the dnata regional offices. <br /> </li><li>Manage the Product Managers and proactively implement the supplier negotiation strategy (online, corporate, wholesale and leisure), to ensure that the required rates, allocations and release periods are competitive, agreed and finalised for distribution across dnata Travel network. </li> </ul> <p>In order to apply for this role you must have the following : </p><p><b>Qualifications</b> </p><ul> <li>Degree or Honours (12 3 or equivalent) in sales and marketing. </li> </ul> <p><b>Experience:</b> </p><ul> <li>10 yrs in the tourism industry in a Product Manager capacity. </li> </ul> <p><b>Knowledge/skills: </b><b> </b></p><ul><b> </b><li><b></b>A high quality achiever with a proven ability to exercise mature leadership, keen commercial judgement and decision making in the selection, negotiating and contracting of hotel services. </li><li>Must posses an excellent knowledge of Geography and clear understanding of the tourism industry and tour operations </li><li>Superior written and oral skills in English (other languages an advantage). </li><li>Must display quality analytical, strategic thinking and negotiation skills with capability of consistently meeting production and commercial deadlines combined with technology literacy and have existing international job relevant industry contact network. </li> </ul> Please click the Apply now button and search for reference:SPM/HA/20813
