Discover your future!<b> <br /> <br />The Position:</b> To direct and ensure the long term IT strategy, relationship and IT delivery for Mercator. Deliver improvements in business performance of Mercator by leveraging synergies within Mercator and Emirates Group IT delivery units. </p><p><b>Job Accountabilities</b> </p><ul> <li>Drive Mercator's IT product strategy (3-5yrs) as well as the annual work programme. Ensuring it aligns with & supports the overall Mercator business strategy based on customers? needs and market research. </li><li>Agree & negotiate the annual work programme with senior business managers, aligning with the over Emirates Group IT strategy </li><li>Complete ownership for the overall delivery of the work programme for Mercator </li><li>Work manage assigned Senior Project Manager/s & Project Managers to ensure delivery </li><li>Proactively develop & maintain competitive products and product strategies, along with supporting sales staff and market development on pre-sales, development, customisation & implementation </li><li>Act as the single point of ownership for all IT solutions & services delivered to Mercator & its customers </li><li>As a member of the Emirates Group IT Senior Management Team, contribute to the strategic & continual improvement of Emirates Group IT </li> </ul> <p> <br /><b>Salary & Benefits:</b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund and it has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1="Dh3.66."
