To do this, we focus on three key ingredients: service, luxury and location. </p><p> We believe that our levels of service must be second to none, we believe that luxury means more than material things and we believe that locations are as important as the resort themselves. </p><p> The Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa, our first Australian Resort, opened October 2009, is set in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area with unbeatable views of the mystical Blue Mountains and promises guests a once-in-a-lifetime wilderness experience. </p><p><b> General </b> </p><ul> <li>Attend to repairs and maintenance of the pools and plant: this includes but is not limited to, checks on dosing systems, water filters, pumps and circulation system and pool heating system. </li><li>Provide a support service to the Facilities Manager and Technical Foreman in meeting the strategic goals of the department; this includes performing of general repairs and maintenance to all plant and equipment based on skill and experience level. </li><li>Carry out regular inspections and meter readings of plant and equipment as per the daily checklist and perform general and emergency repairs and maintenance to all plant and equipment based on skill and experience level. </li><li>Regularly keep the supervisor on duty informed on the requirement of spare parts and tools required in order for the material to be procured and made available for future maintenance. </li><li>Carry out general room inspection, preventative maintenance and repairs. </li><li>Assist withthe Fire Protection Preventative Maintenance Program. </li><li>Ensure that Hotel engineering related areas including plant rooms, electrical, information systems and plumbing riser shafts, storerooms and engineering workshops are clean and maintained. </li><li>Participates as a pro-active team member in the conservation program. </li><li>Ensure compliance with legislated workplace health and safety requirements. </li><li>A Proactive approach to ensuring the guests experience is memorable by participating in guest activities, as required, within your scope of responsibilities. </li><li>Respond to emergency situations which involve the staff and guests of the Resort, and to ensure that in these situations the safety of people and the protection of company equipment are adequately achieved. </li> </ul> <p><b>Electrician</b>- Inspect the electrical equipment that is being worked on for any other faults in order to prevent further breakdown in the future, hence ensuring maximum serviceability of all equipment. Technical Training Certificate in electrical works and a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience as an Electrician. Desired knowledge - an understanding on types of drawings and blue prints of central and individual electrical equipment. Must be proficient in diagnosing faults and effecting the necessary repairs. </p><p> </p><p><b>Plumber</b>- Inspect the plumbing equipment that is being worked on for any other faults in order to prevent further breakdown in the future, hence ensuring maximum serviceability of all equipment. Technical Training Certificate in plumbing works and a minimum of 1 - 3 years experience in the role of Plumber. Desired Knowledge: An understanding on all types of pumps and pipes and Reverse Osmosis Plants.
