From holidays of romance and discovery, to the logistics of getting people wherever their work demands – we make plans that fit yours.</p> <p> </p> <p>As the fourth largest travel management company in the world, we manage everything from business and incentive travel and worldwide tour operations - covering leisure, sports and active holidays—through to hotel sales and marketing representation, offshore and marine services, and government and corporate services.</p> <p><b>Job Purpose</b></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>The main focus of this role will be to manage the operations and expansion of Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) UAE, whilst ensuring that the departmental strategic business objectives are achieved. Furthermore, to ensure that we are in a position of influence and excellent reputation is maintained in the Regional Corporate Travel industry. This shall include the retention of current market shares and the achievement of targets set for HRG.</p> <p><b>Job Outline</b></p> <p>This role will involve:</p> <ul> <li>Developing and implementing specific business strategies and related policies for Hogg Robinson UAE to ensure maximum profitability and productivity.</li> <li>Account Management of corporate client relationships at the CEO and Managing Directors level and ensure the provision of specialised and professional services to ensure sustained and profitable revenue streams for the Company.</li> <li>Identifying new business opportunities and ensure the successful achievement of the overall business objectives relating to sales, new products, marketing objectives and promote the image of HRG in contacts with corporate clients.</li> <li>Manage HRG UAE Travel Implants at various corporate locations and ensure that their total travel spend, as well as all possible additional personal travel expenditure related to such Corporate are channelled into the HRG Implant for the maximisation of Company revenues.</li> <li>Constantly interacts with Manager Call Centre to ensure effective service delivery to HRG clients and the expansion of the business, in line with overall Departmental objectives. Continuously seek improvements in business processes, systems and technology, to align with HRG Central, in order to ensure that business targets are achieved in the most efficient manner.</li> <li>Monitor the changing market situations, and make recommendations to adapt the business plan to meet market conditions and challenges of the future. Track competitor activity and recommend changes in processes, systems and strategy for business growth, to address these needs.</li> <li>To manage the overall annual budget for HRG with respect to sales, manpower and overall costs. Responsible for consolidation of multinational accounts for the MEWA region for HRG.</li> <li>Maintain effective working relationships with internal departments and ensure through Service Level Agreements that Departmental needs are effectively met. Maintain a good working relationship at the very highest level with HRG, Diners Club UAE and Network International to ensure that Diners Travel Account continues to be an effective way of managing Credit to clients and that new credit applications are handled in a quick and effective manner. To do the same with HRG, HSBC - MasterCard & AirPlus relationships.</li> <li>Manage and monitor the analysis of business transacted and reporting functions in order to ensure that that results are effectively tracked, and proactive action is taken to respond to varying market requirements.</li> <li>Represent HRG UAE, at various HRG Regional, Global, Sales and Account Management meetings, and work with the HRG Central office in London as well as HRG Partners the world over, to ensure potential corporate travel related business to HRG UAE is consolidated to maximize benefit for the region.</li> </ul> <p>In order to apply for this role you must have the following:</p> <p><b>Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a business related discipline.</li> </ul> <p><b>Experience:</b></p> <ul> <li>10+ years experience at a senior management capacity in the travel and/or hospitality industry.</li> <li>Strong experience dealing with company financials, forecasting and budgeting for example.</li> </ul> <p><b>Knowledge/skills: </b></p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of business travel, in a travel trade related business.</li> <li>Expert knowledge of Corporate Travel industry and related subjects, including the management of 'Open Book' and fee based client relationships.</li> <li>Knowledge of IATA procedures, involved in managing a travel agency is also required.</li> </ul>
