From holidays of romance and discovery, to the logistics of getting people wherever their work demands - we make plans that fit yours. </p><p> </p><p>dnata Trave manages everything from business and incentive travel and worldwide tour operations - covering leisure, sports and active holidays-through to hotel sales and marketing representation, offshore and marine services, and government and corporate services. </p><p><b>Job Purpose</b> </p><p>In this role you will be responsible for managing dnata's General Sales Agent (GSA), UAE & Regional, Non-GSA, Low Cost Carriers (LCCs) and overall airline relationships and business activities including sales, distribution, development, operations, support as well as an expansion drive whilst supporting and ensuring that one dnata's strategic business objectives are achieved. This includes achievement of profitability, sales, market share and revenue target contribution from all airline suppliers globally. </p><p><b>Job Outline</b> </p><p>In this role you will be required to: </p><ul> <li>Develop, implement and drive dnata's air strategy (UAE & regional) and related policies (3-5 year timescales) for airline partners/suppliers including GSA, Non-GSA & LCCs, whilst ensuring maximum profitability and productivity. <br /> </li><li>Overall relationship management with airline partners & suppliers including regional & headoffices as well as executive management teams of airlines to ensure that we are able to achieve the commercial objectives of the business. <br /> </li><li>Identify new strategic business opportunities i.e. GSAs, Passenger Sales Agents (PSAs) & preferred partnerships and ensure the successful setting and achievement of the overall dnata business objectives relating to customer service, airline ticket sales, ancillary products, & one-stop-shop airline solutions. <br /> </li><li>Monitor and be aware of changing market situations in aviation, and continuously adapt the business strategy to meet the environmental conditions and challenges of the future. <br /> </li><li>Set and maintain product and customer service standards in order to meet industry requirements while supporting any company or principal related objectives. To ensure that all the staff have clear objectives and required trainings to perform their role at a high standard. <br /> </li><li>Identify on a regular basis, the key targets and strategy of prioritised airlines for the business, and communicate this information to all lines of business and staff within dnata Travel, whilst understanding the trade-offs to be made to optimise the overall revenue of the incentive carriers. <br /> </li><li>Work at a senior level with each airline to deliver against the plan and identify value-adds and tools required from the airline to aid dnata achieve its targets and forge global airline relationships. <br /> </li><li>Negotiations with the incentive carriers and on achievable performance for future years. </li><li>Maintain a constant proactive approach to solving all potential issues with airline relationships, and maintain an up to date view of contractual obligations and status. <br /> </li><li>Analyse each airline's performance and deliver a monthly and annual performance on key airline partners/suppliers. <br /> </li><li>Identify new strategic business opportunities with airlines to ensure long term revenue protection and growth. Monitor and keep abreast of all changing market situations, and continuously adapt the business strategy to meet the environmental conditions and challenges of the future. </li> </ul> <p>In order to apply for this role you must have the following: </p><p><b>Qualifications</b> </p><ul> <li>Degree or Honours (12 3 or equivalent) in a business related discipline. </li> </ul> <p><b>Experience: </b> </p><ul> <li>10 years experience at a senior management capacity in a travel based organisation. With expertise in managing GSA travel trade related business and negotiation of airline incentive deals. </li> </ul> <p><b>Knowledge/skills: </b> </p><ul> <li>Knowledge of IATA regulations, airline, policies and procedures together with documentation and accounting requirements. </li><li>Familiarity with the regional travel business environment is desirable to understand customer needs and supplier capability. </li> </ul> Please click the Apply now button and search for reference:MA/HA/20794
