From holidays of romance and discovery, to the logistics of getting people wherever their work demands - we make plans that fit yours.</p> <p> </p> <p>We manage everything from business and incentive travel and worldwide tour operations - covering leisure, sports and active holidays-through to hotel sales and marketing representation, offshore and marine services, and government and corporate services."</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>The Position:</b></p> <p>To provide sales coverage and maintain a liaison with strategic airlines to all dnata Travel outlets in UAE. You will be required to manage the effective implementation of Air product strategy, to execute sales and marketing initiatives, incentives, route deals, pricing, Corporate, group and other sales opportunities, by working with internal lines of business to ensure achievement of the target revenue contribution for each of the airlines identified.</p> <p><b>Job Outline</b></p> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities across dnata Travel to ensure an effective achievement of revenue targets from strategic airlines. Monitor performance data & KPI's pertaining to sales and revenue for these airlines.</li> <li>Monitor and analyse individual airline sales figures and trends, investigate reasons for changes and disseminate information to all stakeholders making recommendations and ensuring corrective actions.</li> <li>Effectively implement sales & marketing initiatives for strategic airlines across all dnata distribution channels.</li> <li>Set up sales call plans, daily, weekly & monthly reporting mechanisms for all strategic airline partners. Prepare reports for dnata management on sales and revenue results. Also recommend the necessary changes to ensure the desired results are achieved in a rapidly changing and highly demanding business segments.</li> <li>Visit the outlets to ensure the strategic airlines are represented, promoted and that gaps & business opportunities are closed successfully. Maintain effective relationships with internal lines of business i.e. Trade, Corporate, Retail, Non-Air, Northern Emirates, Abu Dhabi/Al Ain, Yield, pricing and other teams to drive delivery of sales targets.</li> <li>Work at an operational level with each airline to deliver against the plan and identify value-ads and tools required from the airline to aid dnata Travel achieve its sales and income targets.</li> <li>Liaise closely with the Non-Air unit and each of the airlines to identify areas for Non-Air growth through the airlines (e.g. packages with hotels / commission levels on an airline's holiday products / Inclusive Tours Fares etc.).</li> </ul> <p><b>Salary & Benefits:</b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66. By viewing the 'Dubai Lifestyle' section in the site you can also consider the benefits of Dubai as a location to live and work in. <br /> <br /> <b>Experience and Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>Degree or Honours (12 3 or equivalent) in a business related discipline.</li> <li>5 years experience working in the travel industry or airline with experience in a similar capacity /level.</li> <li>Familiarity with the Gulf travel business environment is desirable, in order to understand customer needs and supplier capability.</li> <li>Demonstrable knowledge of IATA regulations, and airline policies and procedures is essential.</li> <li>Strong financial acumen is required.</li> <li>Advanced skills on MS Excel and PowerPoint are essential.</li> <li>Excellent presentation skills required.</li> </ul> <p><b>To Apply:</b>To express your interest in the above vacancy please apply on-line by clicking below, and complete our application form.
