This includes planning, co-ordination and tracking of dnata travel regional airline agreements and airline-wise performance to ensure achievement of projected air revenues. <br /> <br />Furthermore, the role will involve working alongside the Commercial Manager GSA in the development and implementation of new airline relationships and initiatives across the region. You will also be involved in reviewing, identifying and analysing key airline issues for all existing regional businesses. </p><p><b>Job Outline</b> </p><ul> <li>Review, analyise and recommend necessary changes to the existing airline representation, agreements, sales techniques and targets to ensure continuous revenue growth and value enhancement to dnata's overall air strategy. </li><li>Provide the necessary analysis and data to the line manager during finalising airline deals, targets, initiatives & opportunities with key airline partners across the region. </li><li>Monitor airline performance across the dnata Travel regional network including route, class, airline-wise KPIs and provide subject specific reports that enable more granular understanding and negotiation of regional air contracts to improve overall profitability. </li><li>Review performance reports received from airlines and the regional offices to ensure priority and performance is on track and in line with targets and dnata's regional air strategy. Ensure that the financial/airline target achievement are on track in the respective regional offices and recommend ways to improve were there could be a potential shortfall. </li><li>Liaise with dnata's regional offices to resolve any airline related issues raised by them and ensure smooth implementation of deals and processes. </li><li>Develop a process to track the airline performance of various regional deals and ensure decisions made are implemented by all businesses to achieve optimum revenues through key airline relationships. </li><li>Implement the initiatives and airline-wise plan for the strategic airline partners across the region. </li><li>Co-ordinate and review competitor activity with regional offices, evaluate market intelligence and recommend strategies/corrective measures towards ensuring the dnata air products offer competitive value to the customers across all segments/markets. </li> </ul> <p><b>Salary & Benefits:</b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66. By viewing the 'Dubai Lifestyle' section in the site you can also consider the benefits of Dubai as a location to live and work in. <br /> <br /> <br /><b>Experience and Qualifications:</b> </p><ul> <li>Degree or Honours (12 3 or equivalent) in a business related discipline. </li><li>5 years experience in the travel industry or airline with experience in a similar capacity/level. </li><li>Strong experience in customer service management. </li><li>Knowledge of advanced industry practices, including the operating knowledge of systems, processes & procedures, both back and front office operations of airlines. </li><li>Advance skills in negotiations, feasibility studies, sales & financial processes. </li><li>Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential. </li><li>Exposure working with a variety of nationalities & cultures is essentail as the market characteristics (such as religion, language, nationality, political climate etc) can directly affect success in this role. </li> </ul> <p><b>To Apply:</b>To express your interest in the above vacancy please apply on-line by clicking below, and complete our application form.
