Salary: £37,281 rising to £46,602 per annum plus allowances Plus Mobility Allowance of £2,000 per annum As a Mobile Air Traffic Controller within the HIAL ATS team, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic in accordance with all relevant legislation.

<p>As a Mobile Air Traffic Controller within the HIAL ATS team, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic in accordance with all relevant legislation.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>You will be attached to one of our seven ATC Airports but will be detached to other ATC Airports as required to fill temporary roster shortfalls; the length of detachments will vary but is likely to be for at least 6 months or longer.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Your parent Unit will depend on circumstances but individual preference will be taken into account wherever possible. Please note that unless you hold an APS rating it is very unlikely that you will be based at Inverness Airport.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Whilst on detachment, you will receive assistance towards accommodation plus a paid trip back to your parent Unit every 3 weeks. You will also receive any allowances applicable to the Unit plus an annual mobility allowance.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>You must hold an Air Traffic Controller&rsquo;s Licence issued in accordance with the EU Community Air Traffic Controller Licence Directive 2006/23/EC containing ADV (Aerodrome Control Visual) and ADI (Aerodrome Control Instrument). An APP (Approach Control Procedural) rating and APS (Approach Control Surveillance) rating would be an advantage, as would a current Met Observation certificate.
