About this role

<p>Our List X approved customer is a world leader in Prestige Automotive Production and Development.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Job Purpose:</b></p> <p><b>&nbsp;</b></p> <p>To support vehicle NVH attribute (P/T NVH, chassis NVH, Body NVH) delivery including benchmark, target set, contents development and validation for future models.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Key Responsibilities &amp; Tasks:</b></p> <p><b>&nbsp;</b></p> <ul> <li>Lead team to benchmark and target set for key NVH attributes.</li> <li>Define required hardware/software contents to meet attribute target.</li> <li>Validate hardware and sign off for production. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Carry out contribution and sensitivity analysis for various NVH issues.</li> <li>Lead NVH PAT and relevant PMST meetings to report and discuss the above.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Plan and manage external test facility and resource.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Liaise with P/T, Chassis, Body, Attribute team and CAE team to meet requirement.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li> <li>Follow process and ensure all required information and actions are completed within requested time.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Additional tasks may be added depending on skills of the applicant. <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The post holder will undertake other duties as may be required to achieve the Company&rsquo;s</p> <p>Objectives, commensurate with the grading of the post.</p> <p><b>&nbsp;</b></p> <p><b>&nbsp;</b></p> <p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</b></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> </li> <li>Degree qualified; currently undertaking a degree course; or, in a position to embark on such a course.&nbsp;</li> <li>The candidate must have a solid understanding of NVH and extensive experience of NVH testing or experience within a support role.</li> <li>Knowledge of ArtemiS or LMS is essential.</li> <li>Proven ability to provide subjective evaluation of vehicle attributes.</li> <li>Ability to process, analyse, and report test data.</li> <li>Knowledge of problem solving process (e.g. 8D, 6 sigma)</li> <li>knowledge or equivalent process knowledge (GPDS , FPDS) <p>Contact Luke Farrow for full details.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <i>Only candidates with the right to live and work in the EU will be considered. </i></p> <p><i>Regrettably only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</i></p> </li> </ul>
