Discover your future!<b> <br /> <br />The Position:</b> </p><p>As the Head of Medical Benefits you will be responsible for the Medical Benefits Administration team (MBA) which performs a broad range of health insurance functions including, enrolment and eligibility, utilisation management, member advocacy, network management and contracting and claims payment related to Dubai based employees. </p><p>Additionally, in this role you will be required to identify trends in the medical insurance market and medical services market and ensure that the department strategy meets business objectives while accurately reflecting best practice and offering employees an enhanced medical benefit. <br /> <br /> </p><p>In order to apply for this role you must meet the following criteria: </p><p> <br /><b>Experience and Qualifications:</b> </p><ul> <li>Qualified Doctor (MBBS) </li><li>At least 10 or more year?s experience in Medical Administration. </li><li>The job holder must be doctor and have expertise in Medical Fund Management and Medical Administration. </li><li>Critical thinking and complex problem solving skills are essential. </li><li>Proven ability to communicate and coordinate at all levels within a multicultural environment. </li><li>Knowledge on analytical packages. </li> </ul> <p><b>Preferred </b> </p><ul> <li>Experience of managing contractual relationships with external medical providers </li><li>Ability to maintain a comprehensive and cost efficient network which delivers quality medical care in line with agreed industry standards. </li> </ul> <p> <br /><b>Salary & Benefits: </b> </p><p>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund and it has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1="Dh3.66."
