The successful candidate will perform all purchasing administration duties related to the procurement of both local goods and services and stock items sourced from overseas. The prime objective is to achieve rapid and efficient clearance and receipt of stock items and thus good inventory management at all times. Applicants must be able to speak and write English fluently, should be computer literate and have some purchasing department experience. The ability to negotiate and generally interact effectively with suppliers and service providers is also a pre-requisite for this position. About Qatar Airways Group Qatar Distribution Company, a subsidiary of the Qatar Airways Group, is the sole importer, retailer, and distributor of alcoholic beverages in the State of Qatar. The company sells through its own shops and directly to wholesale customers in the hotel, restaurant, and club sector. The retail shops are high volume, high quality outlets and amongst the best in the industry. <p></p>
