<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/a2VpdGh3LjgxMjAzLjQyNEByZXNvdXJjZWdyb3VwLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif" /><br />Systems Engineer <br />Location: East Midlands <br />Term: Permanent <br />Salary: Circa 38,000GBP - 40,000GBP + relocation <br /> <br />We are currently seeking an experienced aerospace Systems Engineer for a permanent role based in the East Midlands for a multinational Aerospace engineering client. <br /> <br />As the successful Systems engineer you will have the capabilities and understanding of: <br /> <br />1.Understanding of aircraft systems design and integration <br />o Emphasis is on Aircraft Power and Electrical Systems which include: <br />o Power Plant installations, <br />o Pneumatic Systems, <br />o Fluid Systems (Fuel/Hydraulics), <br />o Flight Controls. <br />o Knowledge of associated Avionic Systems and integration requirements is an advantage. <br />o The candidate MUST have worked for an aircraft constructor or a tier 1 equipment supplier, in this type of role before <br /> <br />2.Analytical experience <br />o The candidate will have experience in the reduction, manipulation and interpretation of data in support of Systems performance evaluation and the design process. <br />o It is desirable the candidate will be familiar with simulation tools, such as MATLAB / Simulink. <br /> <br />3.Aircraft Control system experience <br />o The candidate MUST have experience in one of the following: <br />o Aircraft Electrical Systems <br />o Aircraft Hydro-Mechanical systems <br />o Aircraft power-plant systems <br /> <br />4.Airworthiness <br />o The candidate will have an understanding of airworthiness standards, codes and practices in respect to certification of aircraft systems and related components <br /> <br />5.System Safety Assessment <br />o The candidate will understand EASA/FAR 25:1309 requirements and be able to prepare Safety documentation and undertake reliability analysis. <br /> <br />6.Component Qualification & Test <br />o The candidate will have experience is qualification test and the capability to prepare test plans, procedures, reports and associated type records. <br /> <br />7.Test & Evaluation <br />o The candidate will have experience to investigate, analyse, plan, design, develop, implement, test and evaluate aircraft and aircraft-related systems; review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. <br /> <br />8.Requirements Capture and Interpretation, authoring of the Product Technical Specification & System definition <br />o The candidate would be able to review and interpret customer specifications and be able to derive a system response. <br /> <br />9.Good Technical Report writing capability <br /> <br />We can only accept EU Nationals for this role due to ITAR.
