Up to 90 guests are catered for in 40 free-standing suites each with private swimming pool and a main homestead with luxury facilities and stand-alone Timeless Spa. </p><p> One of the world's few resorts neighbouring a World Heritage Site, the Wolgan Valley project is the living embodiment of Emirates' dedication to conservation, aimed to ensure the protection of endangered Australian wildlife. </p><p><b>The Position:</b> </p><p>To provide the personalised tours, field activities and services for the guests of Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa through direct co-ordination with other departments. To participate and carry out routine ecological / conservation work and to act as the primary link between the guest and the field operations, being responsible for information delivery to guests with regards the ecology, history, and cultural heritage of the property; arranging of daily activities in line with Wolgan Valley services and functionality. At other times to carry property conservation and landcare works. </p><p><b></b> </p><p><b>Job Outline:</b> </p><ul> <li>To ensure guests receive the activities, tours and excursions in an informed and educational manner, while maintaining the policies, procedures and systems of Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa. </li><li>To arrange and conduct on and off-site activities, tours/transfers and special requests of guests. </li><li>To be responsible for a particular zone of the resorts reserve area, with regards to ecological maintenance, security and monitoring. </li><li>To ensure that all elements provided for the activities, tours and excursions, are maintained. </li><li>To actively enquire and recommend the services, activities and facilities of the resort to guests. </li><li>To actively maintain and update existing knowledge which is relevant to the resort?s services. </li><li>As directed, carry out property conservation and landcare works that include but are not limited to the maintenance of decks, shelters, tracks and trails, slashing and mowing, maintenance of fences, planting and maintaining flora, and the removal of deceased wildlife from the property and Wolgan Road. </li> </ul> <p><b>Salary & Benefits: </b>We offer our employees competitive remuneration packages, as well as access to fully furnished accommodation. Training in P.R. or guest services is relevant but not essential.<b> </b>At least 2 years working experience in guiding or a position relevant to the job requirements. Experience in a similar resort would be a strong recommendation. A driver's licence, and an experienced, safety conscious, confident driving manner. </p><p> </p><p>Any of the following specialised areas of interest, ability or training would be relevant: </p><ul> <li>Experience of horsemanship / animal care </li><li>Knowledge of Australian flora and fauna, natural history, history and aboriginal culture </li><li>Archaeology </li><li>Natural Sciences </li><li>Professional guiding </li><li>4WD competency would be an advantage </li> </ul> <p> </p><p><b>Must have the legal right to work and live in Australia.
