We invite applications for the post of : Lead Assistant - Ramp The Lead Assistant-Ramp will be assisting the Loading Team Leaders effectively in carrying out tasks related to aircraft loading/unloading, organizing equipments/units and ensure the loaders maintain a FOD clear area on the Ramp. Qualifications and Requirements · Good knowledge of English and basic Arithmetic skills. · At least one year experience in all areas of airport operations and minimum of 6 months at the airside. · Ability to read and understand the LDM/CPM/QRT message and the LIRF. · Practical knowledge of using hand-held scanner and familiarity of bag scan console. · Familiarity of Ramp Safety and Dangerous Goods Handling. · Knowledge to identify unserviceable containers from serviceable containers. · Familiarity of flights operating through Doha by flight numbers and three letter codes. · Familiar with the QR GOM and the SOP's of the Company related to ramp handling. · Candidate should be physically fit and is able to work in harsh climatic conditions.
